What is Autumn Anyway???

WalkieindaRain
Mama says it is getting chillier outside and that means that "Autumn" is coming. We have never seen an "Autumn" outside, we thought it was just another excuse Mama uses to decorate the house!

LeavesChanging
Mama took me outside for a walkie on Saturday to
show me some of the things that happen in Autumn.
First the leaves turn pretty colors and fall from the trees.

Lookatdabirdies
Things get browner....

BirdiesBerries
The birdies can see the thornies better...teeheehee

MoreBirdies
Mama says that where we live not many birdies fly south, but some use our area for a rest stop along the way.

Pelicans
Here are some resting pelicans.....

Duckiesindarain
...and a resting duck

WetuphereMama
OK Mama let's get going, it is starting to rain again
(.....Mama says that is something else that happens in "Autumn")

Yes, your checklist for Autumn is spot on Dory. It probably won't get as cold where you are now will it?

My momma and I love fall. Not only do the birdies see the thornies better, they also see the berries better!

Oh, I loves Autumn Dory!! Wells, except for the rain, butts that usually holds off for at least another month here. I loves the chill in the air, and the leaves to roll around in, and the longer walkies!!
Looks like you have one pawsome walkie trial there Dory! It looks like there's lots of FABulous smells to sniff!!
Kisses,
Ruby ♥

We love fall too, all the pretty colors and cooler weather....especially the cooler weather. It was a hot summer.

Our mama keeps meaning to ask if you have had any earthquakes since you got there. When we arrived in Eureka is was almost like being back in AK with all the shake, rattle and rolling.
