TT-Camping with the Boyz - Wrap Up

Hi All and welcome to the wrap up of our Camping Adventure!!

We made the most of our last day at Dash Point State Park with some more hiking!

We reflected on how much we really like camping in a wheelie house! Here is Jakey imagining how much fun our next camping adventure is going to be in August. We can't wait to see the Doodz and a few more of our blogging furiends in Oregon for the Mini BAR!

After reflecting, we took time to listen to the streams and watch sticks float by...

We used our imaginations...
(ok, well maybe Mama used her imagination...for some reason Mama told us to "move along" with Daddy while she admired all the mushrooms/fairy houses)

I played on bridges with Daddy...

...and enjoyed views of the bridges

We took an adventure walkie to the parts of the campground that weren't open yet too!

We saw the moon above the trees...

We relaxed with some peemail reading..

Mama said there were bunnies EVERYWHERE...but we never found any!

"I smell a bunny Jakey...Really I do!"

We took time to appreciate all the greenery...

Pretty soon the sun started going down...

Daddy said it was time to head back to the wheelie house and start packing things up.

"Don't forget our cookies Mama...and our greenies too!"

The next morning we drove alllll the way back to Portland and returned the wheelie house! Mama says that we had absolutely no problems with CruiseAmerica. We got our full deposit back and the place we rented from was very professional!

After we dropped the wheelie house off we drove to Grants Pass to stay in the same LQ we stayed at on the way out! This time we got to stay for FREE. Daddy says Mama is LQ royalty 'cause she stays in them so much!

It was nice to stay in a big bed again!

Thanks so much for sticking with us (and all Mama's pictures) during our journey. We had a really great time camping and know that this was the first of many, many trips to come!

Mini Jakey and Mini Arty are with Mama, visiting Uncle Cowboy and Uncle Rocky, and will be back to tell you about their journey in a few weeks!

Mama Monday Mischief

Together Again - A Tribute Flower Friday

Arty here today, with a special tribute Flower Friday.
As you may have heard, my best gal Mabel's brother, Mr. Bailey, went to be with Dory and Bilbo(and so many others) at the Rainbow Bridge.
Dory and Mr. Bailey made such a perfect couple and went together to so many wonderful Blogville Parties and events! Dory once told me one of her most favorite dates with Mr. Bailey was the Valentine's Day Flower walk they took in 2016.

But that's enough from me, let's flashback and take a look at that special day...

Welcome to a special Valentine's Day Edition of Seeing Beautiful on Flower Friday! Thank you to my Valentine, the handsome and debonair Mr. Bailey of the Idaho Pug Ranch, for joining me as co-host! He has been having such a cold winter so I invited him to our house in Northern California, where we have been experiencing a very early Spring!

We found a most beautiful path to walk on.

The Magnolias were in bloom, and they smelled soooo beautiful!!

We took a little break to sit and listen to the birdies.

 They sing such beautiful melodies!

We found a romantic spot to sit and listen to a beautiful little waterfall!!

Bailey found some beautiful yellow flowers along our path.

We couldn't believe all the beautiful flowers we saw in February!

We ended our day with the most beautiful sunset!!

Thank you so much for joining us for this special Flower Friday Flashback Tribute for Dory and Mr. Bailey! Please stop by the Idaho Pug Ranch HERE leave words of love for Bailey's Family.

Flower Friday - Until we Meet Again

Mama here this week, doing a Bilbo in the Blue Bonnets Flower Friday

I have been looking back through our Bilbo Blog History and, once again, I  realize how very happy I am I to be documenting the lives of our fur family. Looking back helps me see through the tears, and even give me a smile or two as I remember the events triggering a specific blog post or the feelings behind a picture.  If there is one thing I could recommend to any new pet owner, it would be to document your new friend's life,  because it will bring you comfort one day.

Below, I have included a link to two of the posts that made me giggle or remember why Bilbo, and the relationship between Bilbo and Dory, have been so special to me.

and, I also want to thank whoever was the mastermind behind "Letters to our Pals" (Murphy and Stanley's Mama NB, I believe) because they really do help express why I am so thankful for each of my "kids"
Here is our letter to Bilbo:

A Letter To Our Oldest Boy
 Dear Bilbo,
Thank you for being our first "furkid" and letting us be your furr-ever home. We feel blessed to have been able to share so much time with you. You beat all the odds when, with your challenges(birth defects),  you stuck around more than 10 years more than what the doctors predicted.

Without you, we would have been a pack that overslept, forgot to give you all cookies, had no idea when we should be sitting on the couch and would probably never have known when bedtime was! Thank you so much for keeping us scheduled.

Most of all, thank you for teaching your Daddy and I that dogs, like humans, need routine in their lives.
We love you Boney man...and always will.
Mama and Daddy

Thanks so much to all of Blogville for showing us so much love and support during this time. We are so very thankful to be a part of such a wonderful and caring community!

The Boyz and I will be taking a week off to adjust and renew, but will return next Flower Friday for our monthly look at Sequoia Gardens.

Hop aboard and show us the flowers blooming in your corner of the world (If you don't see the link here, please click HERE to go to our Hoppity page)!!

I Had a Dream...

I had a dream last week....

Dory and I were on our couch way back when we were only puppies.  She let me know she was in a place where sun puddles appeared whenever you needed them, there are unlimited pumpkin crunchies, squirrels appeared just for her to chase and there is never, ever any pain.

She thanked me for helping Mama and Daddy get through the past couple of months and what a good job I had done training Arty to take over as family scheduler!

Dory let me know the hardest thing about going to this place was that Mama and Daddy couldn't go with me and they would be sad. I asked her if we could check in on them from time to time to make sure they were ok?? She said we would always live in their hearts and we could visit them in their dreams and memories all the time.

She told me she was saving me a place,  for when I am ready.

Earlier this week,
I let Mama and Daddy know I was ready....
I am now with my Sissy Dory at the Rainbow Bridge. I told Mama and Daddy to not be sad.  After all, Dory needs someone to make sure she does everything she is supposed to do!

I will really miss Blogville and I know Arty and Jakey will do their best uphold the legacy Dory and I began way back in 2009!

Love and Growlies,
